1) Le operazioni di disimballo e di montaggio del calciobalilla devono essere effettuate da un adulto, munito di guanti antitaglio e scarpe adeguate. I bambini devono essere tenuti lontani durante le fasi di montaggio.
2) Gli imballaggi devono essere smaltiti in modo conforme alle leggi vigenti nel paese di utilizzo; se ne suggerisce la conservazione per il caso di restituzione o di spedizione per la manutenzione del calciobalilla al venditore.
3) Per la sicurezza, in particolare, dei bambini, devono essere smaltiti immediatamente dopo la fase di montaggio i sacchetti e le parti in nylon che possono provocare soffocamento.
4) Le palline da gioco così come la minuteria metallica in dotazione (boccole, viti o bulloni) vanno rigorosamente tenute fuori dalla portata dei bambini al di sotto dei 3 anni.
5) I calciobalilla non sono giocattoli e quindi non sono adatti a bambini di età inferiore ai 3 anni. In ogni caso, è necessaria la presenza di adulto durante il gioco di bambini tra i 3 ed i 6 anni.
6) I calciobalilla con aste uscenti (non telescopiche) non sono adatti a bambini di età inferiore ai 14 anni.
7) Prima dell’uso, è necessario spiegare ai bambini di ogni età l’uso corretto del calciobalilla; in particolare, dovrà essere spiegato che nessuno deve mettere le mani all'interno del campo di gioco durante la partita o sollevare il cassone del calciobalilla.
8) Lo spostamento ed il riposizionamento del calciobalilla, specialmente per i modelli dotati di gambe pieghevoli, deve essere sempre fatto da un adulto e i bambini devono essere tenuti a debita distanza. Il calciobalilla deve essere sempre riposto in un luogo sicuro, lontano dalla portata dei bambini, affrancato saldamente con apposite cinghie o corde per evitare cadute accidentali.
9) Prima di ogni utilizzo, deve essere verificato da un adulto lo stato di usura delle componenti del calciobalilla. In ogni caso, deve sempre essere eseguita la corretta manutenzione del calciobalilla, ivi compresa la sostituzione delle parti logore o arrugginite; deve altresì sempre essere eseguita la pulizia necessaria per poter mantenere lo stato originario di affidabilità e di sicurezza del calciobalilla.
10) La pulizia del calciobalilla deve essere eseguita con un panno in microfibra leggermente umido, senza l’utilizzo di solventi, avendo cura di asciugare ogni traccia di bagnato.
11) Le parti metalliche dei modelli di calciobalilla da esterno sono sensibili alla salsedine, per cui dovranno essere lavate spesso con acqua dolce ed accuratamente asciugate; le aste dovranno essere frequentemente lubrificate con un prodotto specifico.
12) Il calciobalilla non deve essere esposto a luce diretta del sole, che potrebbe causare lo scolorimento di alcune parti o il deterioramento dei legni. Si consiglia l’uso costante di una coperta specifica per calciobalilla.
